The NWSkills Communication for Manufacturing Productivity & Safety (CMSP) program is an 8 week, 24 hour training program that focuses on the language and communication skills specific to your organization.
Our learning and development team will work with you to conduct a needs assessment to customize our content to match your needs. We will then deliver training to your team focusing on workplace specific language, strategies for communicating with others, workplace safety, cross-cultural communication and workplace problem solving.
The CMSP program is customized based on employer and participant input. At the introductory levels, participants focus on developing speaking, listening, reading and writing skills for topics such as:
- Workplace-Specific Language
- Communicating With Others
- Workplace Safety
- Cross-Cultural Communication
- Workplace Problem Solving
Upon successful completion of the program, students receive a Communication for Manufacturing Safety and Productivity completion certificate.

- workplace hazard avoidance and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
