Fall Protection Training

In this six-hour course, students will learn fall protection regulations, how to identify fall hazards and how to protect themselves from them.

Confined Space Entry Training

This 6-hour course teaches students how to identify confined spaces, the regulations surrounding them and steps to take to mitigate their hazards.

Combined Fall Protection & Confined Space Awareness

This 8-hour course teaches students how to identify both fall-hazards and confined spaces, what their hazards are, the regulations surrounding them, and the common methods of protection.

Consulting Services

We offer fall protection, work-at-height, and industrial rope access consulting services. We also offer train the trainer courses for companies who wish to internalize their training.

Fall Protection Training

In this 6-hour course, students learn about the fundamentals of fall protection. Students learn how to identify and control fall hazards in the workplace, different types of required fall protection equipment as well as the techniques used to work at height safely. 

Students cover the following topics:

  • worker’s rights
  • legislation
  • fall protection fundamentals
  • equipment inspection and maintenance
  • anchor points
  • lanyards & energy absorbers
  • harness types
  • swing falls
  • personal arrest systems
  • fall restraint systems

Confined Space Entry

Confined space work involves some of the most critical hazards in workplaces today. Hazards in confined spaces can result in fire, explosion, unconsciousness, asphyxiation, or drowning. Confined space incidents can happen suddenly and often without any warning that something is wrong. In this 6-hour program, students are introduced to the fundamentals of confined space entry.

Students cover the following topics:

  • worker’s rights
  • legislation 
  • defining a confined space
  • pertinent statistics
  • atmospheric hazards
  • process-related hazards
  • duties of a supervisor
  • duties of the entrants
  • duties of the attendants
  • troubleshooting

Course Fee: $130

Training Calendar

Combined Fall Protection and Confined Space Awareness

In this 8-hour program, students learn about the fundamentals of fall protection and confined space entry. Four hours are dedicated to fall protection and how to identify and control fall hazards in the workplace. Students are also introduced to different types of required fall protection equipment as well as the techniques used to work at height safely. The remaining four hours of the course will focus on confined space awareness. Students will gain the knowledge required to understand confined spaces so that work can be safely and successfully planned and carried out.

Students cover the following targets:

  • definitions
  • pertinent statistics
  • roles and responsibilities 
  • identifying fall and confined space hazards
  • fall protection and confined-space related equipment
