GENERAL
Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”, “Terms of Service”) carefully before using the Northwest Skills Institute website (the “Service”) operated by Northwest Skills Institute (“Northwest Skills“, “NWSI”, “NW Skills”, “we”, “our” or “us”).
“User” (You, Your) means any of the following:
- a “Visitor,” meaning you simply browse the Skills Training Sites, including, without limitation, through a mobile or other wireless device, or otherwise use the Skills Training Sites without being registered;
- a “Student,” meaning that you have registered with NWSI for a User ID and User Password (defined below), will complete the homework assignments and exams, and have enrolled in and paid for access to services, content, and/or certification provided by NWSI or its Educational Partners (defined below); or
- an “Attendee,” meaning that you have registered with NWSI for a User ID and User Password (defined below) and that you intend to attend or view the Online Course lectures online without accessing final projects or assessments required for certification, or completing the homework assignments, exams or other course work related to assessments for certification.
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.
Effective Date
Effective Date – This Agreement shall start upon the initialization of any module in the Skills Training Program by the User; and shall be enforceable between the parties starting on this initialization date.
Skills Training Program
Skills Training Program – NWSI agrees to provide access to training material as described according to the Skills Training Program product page for the duration specified. These Skills Training Program features may include online lessons, downloadable course material, live training sessions, and printable certificates.
Limited License
Limited License – By purchasing or subscribing to the Skills Training Program, the User is granted a single-use, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access, view and use the Skills Training Program. All ownership rights in the intellectual property related to the Skills Training Program remain with NWSI and the User may not use or reproduce any of the content in any manner, without the express written consent of NWSI. Any violation of the copyright or trademark rights of NWSI shall result in immediate termination of access to the Skills Training Program without refund.
Pricing
Subscription Pricing – NWSI agrees not to change the monthly or annual subscription fees during the initial subscription period as agreed on the Effective Date.
User Accounts and User Account Security
The User is responsible for maintaining the security of your User Account. The User agrees and understands that they are solely responsible for the account security settings, protection of confidential information (e.g., your password), and all consequences that stem from activities occurring with the “User” Account. You also agree that NWSI is not responsible for any unauthorized use of the User Account or unauthorized payment methods. If you suspect that your User Account or login information has been compromised, you should immediately change your User Password and notify us. You further agree to promptly notify us of any security breach relating to your User Account.

Northwest Skills Institute has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that we shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.
We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions, and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.
TERMINATION
We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS AND TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION
We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete or more timely sources of information. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk.
This site may contain certain historical information. Historical information, necessarily, is not current and is provided for your reference only. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.
CHANGES
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
Miscellaneous Provisions
To use our services, you affirm that you are either 18 years of age or older, or an emancipated minor, or possess legal parental or guardian consent, and are fully able and competent to enter into these terms, conditions, obligations, affirmations, representations and warranties set forth in these Terms of Service. In any case, you affirm that you are over the age of 13 as the our courses are not intended for children under 13. If you are under 13 years of age, do not use the Class Sites or our Online Courses.
