Northwest Skills Institute ("Northwest Skills", "NW Skills", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information of identifiable individuals who visit nwskills.org and use services available through the site.
Amendments to this Privacy Policy will be posted to the site or services and will be effective when posted. Continued use of the services after an amendment is posted constitutes acceptance of the amendment.
When you join us as a user of our services, we may ask for personal information used to activate your account, provide services, communicate with you about your account, and support other purposes set out in this policy.
Your name, company name, address, telephone number, email address, payment information, and other information may be disclosed by you during your use of the services or required by us to provide the services.

Some service-related communications cannot be opted out of, including account-specific notices, planned service suspensions, and outage communications. We will attempt to minimize these communications.
Personal information may be associated with your student learning plan, pathway, assessments, evaluations, assignments, and program completion records.
Credentialing and regulatory bodies may set explicit time limits for how long this information must be kept. If no limit is set, you may request deletion of your information.
We do not knowingly provide services to, or knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under the age of consent.
You may request your information at any time by contacting us.
We only share information with third parties in accordance with your instructions, as necessary to provide a specific service, or otherwise in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. As a general rule, we do not sell, rent, share, or disclose personal information without permission except as permitted in this policy.
We may use personal information to generate aggregated data for internal use and selective sharing. Aggregated data is stripped of information that could identify customers, landing pages, or end users and is manipulated or combined to provide generalized anonymous information.
The site may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites and encourage you to read their privacy policies.
In the event of a change of ownership or other business transition, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
We strive to prevent unauthorized access to personal information, but no data transmission over the internet, by wireless device, or over the air is guaranteed to be 100% secure. We will continue to enhance security procedures as new technologies and procedures become available.
