QUALITY MATTERS
Employers and learners depend on us to deliver high-quality specialized training to improve their prosperity. Our training programs must ensure workers are productive contributors to an employer but also have the skills and abilities to stay safe. Our partners also desire to see strong workforce attachment.
COMMITMENT TO CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
We are committed to continuous improvement and have established a Quality Management System which provides a framework for continuously measuring and improving quality performance.
We have the following policies and procedures in place to support us in our quality goals and align with our quality system:
-
Employer engagement
- Employer consortia regularly review our training materials to ensure they are current in terms of best practices, processes, tools and technologies.
- We work with employers to define certification criteria and assessment frameworks.
- Employers provide feedback during job matching, work practicums, and job placement that is reviewed and considered.
-
Student engagement
- We do weekly surveys of students to see if learning goals are aligned or if adjustments are needed.
- A course completion survey generates feedback that is used to review and revise training programs.
-
Instructor and job developer engagement
- Staff have standardized manuals and procedures to ensure consistency of instruction.
- All instructors are cross trained by other instructors.
- Staff engage daily with students and partners to identify learning gaps that need to be addressed.
- Instructors and Job Developers work with participants on their Individual Training Plan and Job Plan where common gaps can be flagged for review, and ultimately improvement of training.

QUALITY MANUAL AND CULTURE
Our internal procedures are reviewed regularly and are held in a Quality Manual which is made available to all employees.
Management has ultimate responsibility for quality assurance, but all employees understand their responsibilities within their own areas of work to help ensure that a commitment to quality is embedded within the whole company.
