The Inclusive Culture online training program is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of workplace discrimination and the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). The course begins with an exploration of workplace discrimination, covering key topics such as the different types of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. It then transitions into an introduction to DEI, focusing on the importance of building an inclusive company culture and highlighting the personal and organizational benefits of embracing diversity and equity. Through this training, you will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute to a fair, respectful, and inclusive work environment.

Course Outline

Understanding Workplace Discrimination

Workplace discrimination involves unfair treatment of employees based on characteristics like age, race, gender, disability, or religion. This training covers the various forms of discrimination and how they can impact individuals and the workplace environment.

The Role of the EEOC

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) enforces laws that prohibit workplace discrimination. This section explains the role of the EEOC in preventing and addressing discrimination and provides insights into your rights as an employee.

Filing a Discrimination Charge with the EEOC

If you experience discrimination at work, filing a charge with the EEOC is a critical step. This part of the training walks you through the process, ensuring you understand how to take action to protect your rights.
