In this 6-hour course, students learn about the fundamentals of fall protection. Students learn how to identify and control fall hazards in the workplace, different types of required fall protection equipment as well as the techniques used to work at height safely.
The WorkSafeBC Occupational First Aid Level 1 course is an 8-hour program, including coffee and lunch breaks. To be successful, students must demonstrate practical skill competency, achieve a minimum of 70% on a multiple choice exam and attend the full course. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a 3-year certification.
